Kimbilio Hospice

meaning Refuge in Swahili was officially opened on May 6th. The  hospice is  a 26 bed, inpatient facility that houses adults and children living with terminal illness.

Chepchumba

On March 4th, this little girl arrived to Kimbilio Hospice. 8 years old and weighing a mere 13 pounds. Special feedings, medical treatment and constant care were implemented; and by God’s grace, she has come back to life.

Purity

It is hard to believe that this precious child is really four years old. She arrived to Kimbilio Hospice lethargic and weak, weighing a mere 17 pounds.

Catherine

When Catherine stumbled into Kimbilio Hospice, she was in excruciating pain. She explained that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer several years prior but had never had access to treatment or pain control of any kind.
